Our natural Tallow sunscreens contain Ion oxides to create a natural tint. You can select from either Light/Medium or Medium/Deep. Iron Oxides Protect Your Skin from High-Energy Visible (HEV) Light, Visible light, particularly the blue light spectrum between 400 to 700 nanometers, is increasingly recognised as a major contributor to skin damage. Unlike the damage caused by ultraviolet (UV) radiation, which remains relatively superficial and is absorbed by the upper layers of the skin, lower-energy visible light is able to penetrate deeper into the skin, causing signs of photoaging such as fine lines and hyperpigmentation. This effect is especially pronounced in those with darker skin tones (Fitzpatrick skin types IV-VI) and those with hyperpigmentation-prone skin. Instructions: A small amount goes a very long way! You do not need very much and because this is not a liquid you simply dig your finger in a little and use desired amount. No waste! This sunscreen is water resistant, however just like all sunscreens it should always be reapplied at least every 2 hours, irrespective of the water resistance of the sunscreen. Swimming, sport, sweating and towel drying can reduce the effectiveness of the product, so sunscreen should always be reapplied after these activities.
